Church and Museumof Art Religious of San Francisco
This Indian Church was built during the 17th and 18th centuries as part of the convent of the same name. During Colonial time it represented the counterpart to the Cathedral. Added during Republic times to the original stone building with a beautifully carved facade, were two towers which were completed in 1951. On the inside, there are beautiful pieces of embroidery work, paintings, as well as the side altars carved in wood and covered with gold leaf. Religious Art Museum. (PromPerú)
